Installing Nero

1. Download the trial version of Nero from this site and save it to your desktop.
   1. this trial version will be activated to a permanent version when you enter your license key provided by your association
   2. You will be asked to enter your email address and hit the download arrow to the right
   3. You will see the following pop up
      
      1. If you are using Windows XP as your Operating System, then click the underlined "here" in the box first and download and install the Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0 Redistributable Package
         
         
   4. Click on the Download button and when asked where you'd like to save the file, choose your desktop
      
      
2. When the file is done downloading you can close your browser
   
   
3. On your desktop is now a file called Nero-9.x.x.x_trial.exe. Double-click it. It will now start to uncompress
   
   
   
   1. In Windows XP
      1. If you see a box similar to this, click the "Yes" Button
         
         
         
      2. When you see this box, click the "Ok" button, the installation will continue when the computer comes back up
         
         
         
   2. In Vista you may see a warning like this, click the "Run" button
      
      
      
4. On the splash screen, click the "Next" button
   
   
   
5. When this screen appears be sure to choose "Install Nero without the Ask Toolbar" and click the "Next" button
   
   
   
6. If you have been supplied a serial number via email from Zebraweb then enter it in this window (copy and paste may be the easiest way) otherwise the installation will default to a 30 day trial and a key can be entered in at a later time. Click the "Next" button
   
   
   
7. Place the checkmark next to "I accept..." and press the "Next" button
   
   
   
8. Click on the "Typical" installation icon (should be red) and click the "Next" button
   
   
   
9. Click the "Next" button
   
   
   
10. Click the "Exit" Button
    
    
    
11. You can now delete the icons highlighted below
